Some Criteria For Pm Kisan:-
- Eligibility of pm Kisan – Small and marginal farmers who own cultivable land are eligible for the scheme. The definition of small and marginal farmers varies from state to state.
- Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) – The financial assistance is transferred directly into the bank accounts of the eligible beneficiaries through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) mode.
- Aadhaar Seeding – Aadhaar seeding is mandatory for beneficiaries to avail of the scheme. It helps in ensuring transparency and prevents leakages in the system.
- Installments – The financial assistance of Rs. 6,000 per year is provided to eligible farmers in three equal installments of Rs. 2,000 each, credited directly to their bank accounts in April, August, and December.
